Delete Account

This page explains how ScoreLegends users can delete their account and what happens to their data after deletion.

1. How to Delete Your ScoreLegends Account

Option A — Delete inside the app (recommended)

1. Open the ScoreLegends mobile app
2. Go to Profile
3. Tap Edit Profile
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
5. Confirm deletion (you may be asked to type DELETE)

Option B — If you can’t access the app

Email us from the email address linked to your account at: admin@thescorelegend.com

Please include your account identifier (email/username) so we can verify ownership before processing deletion.

2. What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete (or permanently de-identify) the following:

• Profile photo / avatar (removed)
• Full name (removed or replaced with “Deleted User”)
• Display name / username (removed or replaced with “Deleted User”)
• Date of birth (removed)
• Nationality (removed)
• Player position (removed)
• Preferred foot (removed)
• Jersey number (removed)
• Bio (removed)
• Account authentication access (login is disabled / account removed)
• Push notification tokens (removed)

3. What May Be Retained (Anonymized Match Records)

ScoreLegends is a match and crew record app. To preserve match integrity for your teammates and crews, some match history and stats may remain visible in the app in an anonymized form (for example: “Deleted User” instead of your name).

• Match scorelines and match events (goals/assists/cards)
• Crew match history (results, fixtures)
• Aggregated stats that no longer identify you personally

4. Processing Time

• In-app deletion: processed immediately after confirmation.
• Email requests: processed after verification, within a reasonable time.
